- We are supporting Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center in seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to serve on the front lines of care.
- As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will provide emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings, assist patients during transport, and respond to urgent situations across the community.
- You will work closely with the hospital team and local volunteer fire department to deliver safe, efficient, and life-saving care.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic or intermediate life support in emergency situations
- Respond to emergency medical services calls and transport patients safely to care facilities
- Assist medical providers during emergency response and stabilization
- Operate emergency vehicles, equipment, and communication systems
- Work collaboratively with volunteer fire department personnel
- Perform patient assessments and deliver care within Washington State scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions
- Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready
- Participate in emergency response scenarios including rescues and evacuations
- Remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced situations
Requirements
- Current Washington State Emergency Medical Technician certification
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
- Completion of required AIDS training
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional during emergencies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and patient-centered care
