Job description

• We are looking for an experienced and driven Brokerage Finance Manager to lead our Brokerage Finance and Business Intelligence function. Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Contract Management, you will lead a high-performing team delivering a critical service supporting commissioning teams, suppliers, and health partners. You will ensure accurate financial management, high-quality data insight, and continuous improvement across brokerage/payments processes across Children’s and Adults social care and Public Health.

Responsibilities

• • Lead and manage the Brokerage Finance & Business Intelligence team
• • Develop strategic direction for the service
• • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• • Oversee financial data accuracy and compliance
• • Lead process mapping, improvement and redesign
• • Drive continuous improvement and staff development
• • Act as the escalation point for service issues
• • Lead system development and improvements
• • Work with Procurement and Finance to ensure governance is adhered to
• • Provide reporting, insights, and respond to enquiries
