Job description

• We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced professionals in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, and related quantitative disciplines to contribute to an advanced AI training and evaluation project focused on financial and operational chart interpretation.
• Selected professionals will analyse complex visualisations, design multi-step reasoning tasks, produce objectively verifiable answers, and document analytical reasoning with precise financial and operational terminology. No prior experience in AI is required.

Responsibilities

• Financial & Operational Chart Analysis
• Interpret financial visualisations including candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdowns, and market-volume charts
• Analyse operational charts including control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, capacity, and throughput visualisations
• Identify trends, anomalies, relationships, bottlenecks, and performance differences
• Apply appropriate financial, economic, operations, and industrial-engineering terminology
• Distinguish directly observed chart information from unsupported conclusions
• Quantitative Reasoning & Task Design
• Develop clear, objective analytical questions requiring multi-step reasoning
• Perform calculations involving values, rates, proportions, trends, and comparisons
• Design tasks involving interpolation, time-series analysis, and cross-variable reasoning
• Ensure all required information is available from the supplied visualisation
• Produce precise answers with transparent calculations and reproducible reasoning
• AI Evaluation & Quality Assurance
• Create benchmark tasks reflecting realistic finance and operations workflows
• Evaluate AI-generated answers for quantitative, interpretive, and terminology accuracy
• Verify calculations, units, scales, legends, categories, and expected answers
• Identify ambiguity, hidden assumptions, or unsupported extrapolation
• Incorporate reviewer feedback and maintain consistent evaluation standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional, academic, or research experience with financial-market, risk, or operational-performance data
• Strong chart-interpretation and quantitative-reasoning skills
• Familiarity with candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdowns, volume charts, control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, capacity, or throughput visualisations
• Advanced ability to interpret axes, units, scales, legends, categories, and annotations
• Ability to design clear and objectively answerable analytical questions
• Strong written and spoken English
• Experience with financial reporting, process analysis, quality assessment, technical documentation, benchmark creation, or data-annotation tasks is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and analytical rigour
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
