Health Informatics Specialist - Medical Records at Prime Healthcare in US-IL-Olympia Fields

Responsibilities

• Health Informatics Specialist will be responsible for providing analytic support and quantifying business requirements and performing analyses, forecasting and mining of data to support cross-functional teams and stakeholders. He/She will review patients’ records for timeliness, completeness and accuracy while communicating with cross-functional teams as appropriate. He/She will ensure that there is quality maintenance of the patient information/medical records within applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, and or Healthcare Management, Health Information Management or Information Science or equivalent experience
• 2. Two years of work experience in an acute care health information management setting
• 4. Demonstrate advanced ability to operate a computer, multiple software applications, and other office equipment as necessary.
• 1. Clinical experience.
• 2. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers
