• Operating at the intersection of logistics and tech has allowed Flexport to develop a unique value proposition that customers all over the globe love, resulting in exponential growth over the last 10 years. As part of our mission to make global trade easy for everyone, we are expanding and growing our sales organization in the India Subcontinent region.
• We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to build and scale our business, identify high-potential clients, and close deals. You'll be part of a high-performing team and in the driver's seat to establish our presence in the region, while providing tech-enabled freight solutions that address customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Building and growing Flexport's Air and Sea freight business in the India Subcontinent region by closing net-new business.
• Managing the entire sales funnel—from initial prospecting to final closing—by targeting high-potential accounts.
• Leading discovery sessions with new clients to diagnose supply chain challenges and architect value-driven solutions.
• Articulating Flexport’s tech-enabled advantages through compelling digital and in-person presentations.
• Owning and exceeding individual quotas through a disciplined and strategic approach to revenue generation.
• Orchestrating smooth customer transitions by partnering with internal operations and specialized teams.
• Serving as a regional brand ambassador and surfacing strategic growth leads for our global demand organizations.
• Facilitating communication between key stakeholders to ensure our service delivery mirrors evolving client requirements.
• Driving the continuous improvement of a world-class sales and logistics framework.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve individual targets for profitable volume growth.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 8 years’ experience in a full-cycle (prospecting to closing), quota-carrying sales role.
• Domain Expertise: Experience within a freight forwarding or logistics domain is required.
• Sales Drive: Enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects, leading discovery calls, and a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the country.
• Mindset: A client-service mindset - obsessed with client and employee happiness - and the courage to challenge the status quo.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a strong work ethic and fast learning ability.
• Execution: Strategic vision combined with "ground floor" execution capabilities.
