Job description

• This is a permanent, full-time position based at VALD's global headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.
• As a Motion Designer / Video Producer, you will play a key role in shaping how VALD communicates its products through video and motion design. Working as part of our global marketing team, you will create fast-paced, engaging content that helps explain complex software features, product updates and workflows across VALD's growing suite of technology products.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of VALD’s global marketing and video team, you will collaborate closely with marketers, product teams and fellow creatives to plan, capture and deliver high-impact video content across a wide range of channels.
• This is a hands-on creative role working closely with the Lead Videographer and broader marketing team to bring ideas to life through motion graphics, animation and video. While some production experience is beneficial, the primary focus is creating visually compelling content using motion design, UI animation and modern editing techniques.
• Design and animate motion graphics for product launches, feature announcements, educational content and paid campaigns.
• Recreate and animate software interfaces within After Effects to showcase product workflows and user experiences.
• Develop engaging kinetic typography, UI animations, transitions and visual effects that help communicate complex information simply.
• Collaborate with marketers, product teams and subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into compelling visual stories.
• Edit video content using modern motion design techniques to create energetic, polished and platform-specific deliverables.

• 3-5 years' professional experience in motion design, video production, animation or a related creative role.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Film Production, Multimedia, Media Arts.
• Proven experience producing high-quality content ranging from curated to fast-turnaround organic social to longer form content. Experience in advertising creatives is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, pacing, typography and visual storytelling.
• Experience creating UI animations, product demos or software-focused marketing content.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
