NEPA Coordinator - Transportation Department at Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. in Bloomfield Hills, MI

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor by guiding project teams and clients through environmental requirements and providing clear, informed recommendations.
• Follow the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for design projects.
• Follow the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for design projects.
• Coordinate submittal of all required documents.
• Work with multiple groups at HRC to gather the required submittal documents.
• Ensure projects are following these regulations.
• Provides early preliminary environmental review for infrastructure grant applications.
• Conducts reviews of local, state, and federal policies, as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand project scope and evaluate potential environmental, social, and economic impacts.
• Ability to stay organized and keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Responsive to requests from multiple entities within and outside of HRC.

• Understanding of transportation related projects and construction.
• Education
• Required
• Bachelors or better in Planning or related field.
• Experience
• Previous Experience Desired
