• CRST has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Early Talent Program within our summer internship program as an Operations Intern within our Dedicated Solutions division. CRST's Dedicated Solutions team strives to provide customers with the flexibility of a private fleet – focused on speed, efficiency and value – without the expense. We work to deliver service excellence to our retailers and producers, relentlessly working toward more consistent, dependable and high-quality delivery services to make us an invaluable part of supply chain logistics.
• The Operations Intern will gain practical experience with CRST’s processes and transportation management practices, while helping improve the use of company assets and equipment. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with different departments and build valuable skills for a future career in business or management.
• The Summer Internship Program is where students are exposed to the transportation industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns and leaders across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with different business entities to accomplish company objectives and goals.

Responsibilities

• Operational Knowledge - Gain hands-on experience with CRST’s processes and day-to-day operations
• Transportation Management Practices - Learn and apply basic transportation management practices to support business functions
• Asset and Equipment Utilization - Assist in improving the efficiency of company assets and equipment
• Cross-Department Collaboration - Work with various departments and develop effective communication skills
• Work Ethic and Loyalty - Show a strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment to success in all tasks
• Career Aspirations - Demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in business or management
• Multi-tasking and Problem-Solving - Handle multiple tasks and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Senior Leadership Exposure - Learn from our Senior Leaders from day 1 and present your project and experience to them at the end of the summer!

Requirements

• Pursuing a business-related 4-year bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Sophomore - Junior-level college student pursuing a degree within Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or a similar field
• Minimum 2.5 or above GPA
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and loyalty
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Has strong aspirations for future success in business or management
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership
• Prior coursework, internship, or work experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Basic oral and written communication skills
• Maximizes relationships, fosters collaboration, and builds trust
