Job description

• We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced U.S.-based Corporate Attorneys with strong expertise in corporate law, litigation, bankruptcy, compliance, legal research, drafting, legal reasoning, and document analysis to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project.
• Selected professionals will analyse complex legal materials, develop realistic scenarios and research memoranda, evaluate AI-generated legal content, and support quality standards for legal training data. No prior experience in AI is required.

Responsibilities

• Legal Analysis, Research & Drafting
• Analyse corporate, litigation, bankruptcy, and compliance matters under U.S. law
• Identify material legal issues, risks, applicable frameworks, and cross-practice considerations
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, analytical summaries, and structured legal conclusions
• Review legal documents for substantive accuracy, relevance, and completeness
• Draft and edit sophisticated legal content with clear professional reasoning
• Scenario Development & AI Evaluation
• Develop realistic legal scenarios and case studies testing issue identification and legal reasoning
• Review AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with applicable U.S. law
• Identify missed issues, unsupported conclusions, weak reasoning, or incomplete analysis
• Annotate legal materials and translate complex principles into structured formats
• Provide actionable corrections and detailed expert feedback
• Quality Standards & Collaboration
• Contribute to legal-data guidelines, annotation standards, and evaluation criteria
• Support quality assurance across legal datasets and review workflows
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to evaluation processes
• Explain complex legal concepts clearly to legal and non-legal stakeholders
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary project teams on ambiguous or complex legal questions

Requirements

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active licence to practise law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3–15 years of substantive experience in corporate law, litigation, bankruptcy, compliance, or related practice areas
• U.S.-based
• Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate law and professional legal reasoning
• Demonstrated experience with legal research, drafting, and document analysis
• Litigation, bankruptcy, or compliance experience is highly valuable
• Strong analytical judgement and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex legal principles into clear, structured analysis
• Experience developing guidelines, review standards, or quality-assurance processes is advantageous
• Judicial clerkship, legal teaching, or law-journal editorial experience is highly valued
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
