Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate provider credentialing data into internal systems and databases
- Process and verify credentialing applications, licenses, and certifications for healthcare providers
- Audit and update existing provider records to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Coordinate with credentialing specialists to track application statuses and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and organize credentialing files and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding provider data and credentialing records
- Support the credentialing team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- Prior experience in data entry, credentialing, or healthcare administration strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry
- Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or other credentialing compliance standards is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
