Marketing Assistant at VCBO Architecture in Salt Lake City, UT

Job description

• VCBO Architecture is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Salt Lake City. This is a hands-on role for someone looking to grow their marketing experience while contributing across a variety of projects, including content creation, events, marketing campaigns, pursuit support, and day-to-day marketing initiatives.
• You’ll work closely with our marketing team, designers, and other staff across the firm to help tell VCBO’s story, support business development efforts, and keep marketing projects moving. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, collaborative, and excited to build a career in marketing within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns from concept through completion, working with internal teams, external partners, and vendors as needed.
• Plan and support conferences, project milestone events, firm events, promotional activities, and other marketing initiatives.
• Create and coordinate marketing content, including social media posts, website content, presentations, brochures, mailers, award submissions, and other communications.
• Support proposals, presentations, and other pursuit materials by coordinating with project teams and gathering relevant information.
• Help maintain VCBO’s website, intranet, CRM data, and other marketing platforms and resources.
• Coordinate project photography, branded materials, promotional items, and other marketing needs.
• Provide general support to the marketing team and assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with social media platforms and creating content for digital or print communications.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders across the firm.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, or project management tools is a plus.
