• Uniqlo Cafe, located in New York, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Barista! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
• We are looking for experienced, responsible, and hardworking Baristas to join our team at Uniqlo Coffee’s first U.S. location. The ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. You will play a key role in crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
• Ensure composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold company standards for beverage and food preparation.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Regularly clean, restock, and organize the café space.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Communicate promptly with management regarding operational needs or issues.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Guide and train new hires to maintain service and quality standards.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista (minimum 1 year).
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong ability to assess and meet customer preferences.
• A passion for hospitality and creating a positive customer experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Barista experience: 1 year (Required)
