- The Assembly Parts Kitter at Cleaveland/Price plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our Assembly department. This role is responsible for pulling the correct numer of parts from various locations throughout the facility creating “kits” to provide to the different departments in Assembly department. They will aid in inventory control, quality, and production time adherence. The Assembly Parts Kitter will coordinate with the Assembly management team to pull parts for jobs in order of priority, while also adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities
- This role utilizes a MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) to safely pull parts from higher locations. Ability to obtain and maintain certification to operate a (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) MEWP is required.
- Ascend/ descend rolling stairs and ladders to obtain parts.
- Count parts and mark them in and out of inventory.
- Decipher similar looking parts from one another.
- Organize parts pulled for Assembly .
- Document the pulling of parts.
- Ensure work practices are compliant with all OSHA and ISO standards.
Requirements
- Your Background
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior material handler experience or warehouse logistics experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail is a required.
- Top notch communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
