• The Space Force Integration Engineer position, a member of the Development Integration Test (DIT) Team, requires an active Secret clearance and experience with system integration and verification, preferably including ground-system testing. Candidates should have software integration experience, the ability to analyze and break down requirements, and experience developing test plans and test procedure documents. Responsibilities include test execution, troubleshooting, and developing test automation scripts.

• As a Space Force Integration Engineer, you’ll participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you’ll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices.
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
• Test execution, troubleshooting, and developing test automation scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is reuired at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
• Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
• Minimum of 15+ years of software integration expertise preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years working with satellite operations and ground operations systems required
• Minimum of 10+ years of recent Linux experience preferred
