iOS Engineer - Hybrid at Genesis10 in Charlotte, NC

Job description

• Genesis10 is currently seeking an iOS Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
• We are looking to hire a talented iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices. Your duties will include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, and maintaining the core code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype front-end applications for the Mobile team
• Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces
• Implement front-end logic and data interactions
• Develop screens and components by integrating back-end APIs
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features
• Participate in design reviews with the middleware team and coordinate with business on functionality
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Fix application bugs before the final release
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application
• Design and implement application updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's in Software Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in iOS Development using Swift, UIKit and/or Objective C
• Proven experience as a UI/UX developer for mobile applications on the iOS platform
• Hands-on experience with Copilot or similar tools (e.g., Github CoPilot)
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs
• Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
