- As a Security Guard Customer Service Patrol in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. This customer-focused role uses clear communication and computer or tablet skills while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Assist with enforcement of site policies related to access control, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas.
Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
