• The opportunity
• As our FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial rhythm of the Australia and New Zealand business ; managing end-to-end forecasting processes and providing critical insights to stakeholders.
• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.
• This role is ideal for someone with a solid finance foundation, advanced analytical skills, strong Excel skills, great attention to detail, curiosity, and the confidence to work with data, deadlines and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage key forecasting and reporting processes across Australia and New Zealand, from Gross Sales through to Gross Margin.
• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, including V2V and Polaris, ensuring inputs are accurate, challenged and delivered on time.
• Analyse monthly trading performance and help translate results into clear insights, risks, opportunities and recommendations.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key financial dashboards and reporting tools, including V2V and daily sales reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, RGM and Commercial teams to support decision-making and improve forecast quality.
• Support COGS reporting and forecasting, including actual vs forecast analysis, accruals and communication with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3+ years FMCG or industry experience is desirable
• Strong Excel skills, Power Query and Power BI and confidence working with large data sets; PowerPoint skills to help communicate insights clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and follow through on recurring reporting processes.
• A curious and analytical mindset, with the confidence to question numbers and understand what is driving performance.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and interest in improving how reports, tools and processes work.
