Software Engineer - Hybrid at Genesis10 in Irving, TX \ Charlotte, NC \

Job description

• Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
• In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will review and analyze software engineering challenges, contribute to their resolution, and collaborate with internal teams while leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 4-6 years of experience with Splunk
• 4-6 years of experience with AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Any scripting experience (e.g., Python)
• AI exposure
• Understanding of Automation principles and tools (Ansible, Selenium etc.)
• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
• Experience with Mainframe technology
• Experience with SNOW or Prometheus
• Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

• Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
