• Genesis10 is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - OpenShift for a hybrid (3 days onsite) position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
• The ideal candidate is a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep OpenShift and container expertise. This role involves independently troubleshooting complex issues across application, database, networking, observability, workflow orchestration, and GPU infrastructure layers while driving reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Application Infrastructure Support
• Strong hands-on experience supporting applications deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms
• Proven expertise troubleshooting OpenShift clusters, pods, deployments, routes, services, container networking, persistent storage, and image management
• Experience supporting GPU-enabled infrastructure, AI/ML workloads, and Camunda workflow orchestration platforms
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, MongoDB, Linux/Unix, VMware, F5 Load Balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Git
• Strong observability and monitoring expertise using Dynatrace, Splunk, and other APM tools
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, platform security, operational controls, and production readiness
• Ability to partner with infrastructure, container, database, network, security, and application development teams
• OpenShift or Kubernetes certification
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems in highly regulated enterprise environments
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and containerized workloads
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and reliability engineering best practices
