The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the Inventory Control Team across multiple shifts and overall building inventory. Coordinates and manages daily physical and perpetual cycling counting efforts.

- The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the Inventory Control Team across multiple shifts and overall building inventory.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and manages daily physical and perpetual cycling counting efforts.
- Works with the leadership team to drive the building health reports and achieve desired results
- Reports, monitors and reviews daily inventory adjustments and changes.
- Resolves inventory issues/discrepancies both systemic and actual.
- Conducts daily activities/analysis to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems.
- Works with building operational peers, as well as others on root cause analysis to solve operational problems creating inventory issues.
- Develops inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Acts as the liaison between the corporate inventory team, finance, IT, outside auditors and other building IC teams.
- Leads, develops and mentors the inventory team.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Requirements
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Years of experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years distribution experience in an inventory leadership role
- Strong knowledge of distribution processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and people skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Ability work across multiple shifts to include weekends.
- Manhattan WMS experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems to identify “root cause” and achieve desired results.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to effectively communicate outside the building with Inventory Control Peers, Finance & IT Teams .
