Job description

• Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a QA Engineer for their Fort Lauderdale, FL/ Hybrid location.

Responsibilities

• An experienced QA Engineer with expertise in API Testing, Database Testing, and Batch Testing to validate backend systems, integrations, data flows, and batch processes.
• The role involves ensuring application quality, data integrity, and seamless end-to-end business operations across enterprise applications.
• Api testing
• Design and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs.
• Validate request/response payloads, status codes, authentication, and business rules.
• Perform integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of APIs.
• Use tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, and Rest Assured.
• Database testing
• Validate backend data accuracy and integrity using SQL queries.
• Test stored procedures, functions, views, and database validations.
• Verify data consistency across applications and databases.
• Perform source-to-target data validation for ETL processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Advanced SQL and Database Testing knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in Batch/ETL Testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, SQL Server/Oracle, Control-M, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and defect management tools (JIRA/Azure DevOps).
• ChatBot Testing experience
