Job description

• This is a 9-month contract assignment for a Senior Workday Business Analyst, supporting the Global Talent and Tech Ops team. Contractors will be employed through a staffing partner, not directly by Palo Alto Networks. This role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka 5, and operates on a hybrid schedule, require reporting to the office four days a week.
• You will be a pivotal force in triaging and analyzing data from Workday Recruit to meet the needs of our HR teams. You'll also play a key role in managing our other critical HR applications, including Paradox, HiredScore, Linkedin etc. A core part of your role will involve solving complex user requests by applying AI to enhance system functionality and reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically adept professional who thrives on solving complex analytical challenges, handles confidential information with discretion, and has the superior organizational skills needed to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Talent Acquisition team in their day to day system needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable, data-driven HR solutions.
• Proactively identify data anomalies; implement robust data quality controls.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT to resolve complex Job application, Hire, Offer challenges etc.
• Actively manage and efficiently resolve support tickets submitted through the HR support ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of HR-related inquiries and issues.
• Ensure timely and effective solutions for employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with various HR teams and potentially other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive user experience.
• Support the integration of AI tools to enhance reporting and training capabilities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years in HR analytics.
• A minimum of 1 year of business analysis or project management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Workday, Workday Recruit, and Workday Report Builder with strong attention to detail is required.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze complex data patterns.
• Experience gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic insights for non-technical audiences.
• High proficiency in English is required.
• Experience with API integrations related to HR data is a plus.
• AI experience, specifically in applying AI to enhance reporting and data analysis, is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
