• As a Mobile Back-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit. A hands-on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality, well-designed software. You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns.

Responsibilities

• Guiding and leading the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit
• Diving into code to deliver high quality, well-designed software
• Sharing responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations, and safely managing security and data privacy concerns

Requirements

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role
• Experience in designing and building backend API's
• Proven technology experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Git, CI/CD
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
• A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
• Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing
• Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers
• Experience working with technical and non-technical partners
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
• Experience with server-driven architectures will be well regarded
