Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be supporting the a Federal client as they build out a new Vetting system that will integrate older systems into one platform to be use across the agency
- Work closely with both management and development teams to formulate and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards
- Oversee initial requirement gathering efforts for new project
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
- Conducts analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of requirements into proper system requirement specifications
Requirements
- Eligible for Public Trust Level 3
- 7+ years of experience working as a business analyst in professional setting
- 2+ years of experience working on process improvement projects
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow optimization, and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with vetting systems ‘Elis’ or ‘Global’ is preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong documentation skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
