• Title: Registered Nurse, Acute/Medical/Surgical
• Location: British Columbia sites including: Kamloops, Vernon, Penticton, Trail
• Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
• Pay Range: $52 - 62/hour, T4 or incorporated options

Responsibilities

• As an Acute/Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, you will:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely
• Provide post-operative and acute medical care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge planning, and health management
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Promote patient safety while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements

• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care and/or Medical Surgical RN experience
• Experience working in a busy acute care hospital setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
