Responsibilities
- Manage payroll software implementations for new and existing customers
- Understand customers’ payroll processes and requirements and translate these into the right software setup
- Configure SaaS products, workflows and customer-specific requirements
- Support payroll data migration, integrations and testing
- Work with APIs, ETL processes and data transformation where required
- Guide customers through user acceptance testing and readiness for go-live
- Deliver training and explain software clearly to customers
- Support customers during go-live and their transition into ongoing support
- Manage multiple customer projects and priorities at the same time
- Work with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes
- Keep customers informed about progress, timelines, risks and issues
- Travel to customer sites when required.
Requirements
- Hands-on payroll experience and a good understanding of payroll processes – essential
- Experience in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding or technical consulting
- Experience working directly with customers to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Experience with payroll software or systems
- Understanding of software configuration, workflows and integrations
- Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration or data transformation
- Confidence managing several customers, projects or priorities
- The ability to explain software and technical information in simple terms
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar tools would be useful
- You may currently be an Implementation Consultant, Payroll Implementation Consultant, Payroll Systems Consultant, Payroll Consultant, SaaS Consultant or Technical Consultant.
- You don’t need to know IRIS products already. This role is suited to someone with relevant hands-on experience who wants to develop deeper payroll, product and technical expertise.

You’ll take customers from understanding their requirements through to configuration, data migration, testing, training and go-live.
