- Receives and bills merchandise, accepts payment, waits on customer and assists location manager by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer service in a timely manner via several means which include email, face to face interaction, telephone and live chat.
- Bill products, receive payments, run scale, and track inventory.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns, complaints and issues.
- Assist location manager with maintaining grain, petroleum, feed and/or agronomy records.
- Accept and record prepayment and bookings for products.
- Price and process payment for commodities delivered by customers
- Removes cash and reconciles amount of cash in register at end of day and prepares deposit.
- Develops and maintains vast knowledge of the products and services being offered.
- Exhibits self-motivation and the ability to multitask and pay close attention to small details.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and commercial insurability at all times
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of grain and inventory software.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and commercial insurability at all times. May be required to maintain a valid CDL and commercial insurability by location manager.
- May be required to maintain a current weighing license and grain grading certificate.
