• CAPITAL of Indian Trail is looking for a personable and motivated Business Development Center (BDC) Sales Representative to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You'll connect with potential buyers, nurture leads, answer questions, and help guide customers through the beginning of their vehicle-shopping journey. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates with confidence and empathy, and takes pride in building lasting relationships that contribute to both customer satisfaction and dealership success.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming leads via phone, email, or online inquiries
• Manage and prioritize leads to ensure timely follow-up
• Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Provide information about products, services, and promotions
• Highlight product features, benefits, and value propositions
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
• Collaborate with other BDC team members, sales representatives, and departments
• Input accurate and up-to-date information into the CRM system
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge in sales or business is a plus
• Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in an automotive or BDC environment
• Strong sales instincts and the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
• Previous experience in phone or virtual sales is an asset
• Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales-related software
• Ability to work collaboratively with other BDC team members and sales representatives
• Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Willingness to adapt to changes in sales processes and technologies
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
