• Financial Analyst II
• Location Arden, NC
• This role supports the Industrial Solutions Leadership team, initially working in the Arden facility and will transition to a new production facility within the Western Carolina region.
• The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
• This position will make significant contributions in cost accounting, new business proposals, general accounting requirements, and ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supports fixed asset and general cost accounting activities for the facility
• Handles various month end responsibilities such as account reconciliations and journal entries
• Will support legal entity requests, IRS tax reconciliations, and annual tax schedules
• Assists in completing the monthly forecast and annual long range planning processes
• Supports acquisition of new customer programs through business case analysis and quoting processes.
• Performs other routine duties and ad hoc reports with analysis would be required as directed by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent discipline preferred
• SAP and OneStream software applications knowledge highly preferred
• 3-5 years related work experience in Accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing Setting, is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must have the ability to process significant amounts of data entry in a timely and accurately manner.
• Attendance on the job is essential.
