This hybrid opportunity is ideal for an experienced legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment while delivering exceptional administrative, organizational, and client service support.
- The selected professional will serve as a key resource for attorneys and legal teams by coordinating daily operations, managing legal documentation, supporting court filings, organizing attorney schedules, and ensuring matters move efficiently from initiation through completion. Success in this role requires outstanding communication, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive administrative and operational support to attorneys and legal professionals.
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal correspondence, agreements, pleadings, reports, and client communications.
- Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and scheduling priorities.
- Manage Continuing Legal Education (CLE) records, attorney compliance tracking, and administrative reporting.
- Prepare electronic court filings while maintaining organized digital and physical case records.
- Coordinate client meetings and maintain professional communication with clients, courts, vendors, and legal professionals.
- Support billing activities including time entry, expense reimbursement processing, reporting, and billing coordination.
- Monitor legal deadlines, follow up on outstanding matters, and maintain workflow accuracy.
- Assist with document management and legal records administration using firm-approved technology platforms.
- Collaborate across legal teams to ensure exceptional client service and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of legal assistant or legal administrative experience within a law firm or legal environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience proofreading, editing, and formatting complex legal documents.
- Experience utilizing electronic court filing systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- U.S. citizens only.

- Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, iManage, or similar legal software platforms.
- Experience managing attorney billing support, expense reimbursement processing, and CLE administration.
- Exposure to litigation, probate, corporate, or other legal practice areas.
- Strong legal document management and workflow coordination experience.
- Stable employment history demonstrating continued professional growth within legal support services.
