Job description

• The Service Fire Alarm Project Manager oversees fire alarm service, inspection, repair, and small project work from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for customer communication, scheduling, financial performance, compliance, and project execution to ensure successful delivery of service-related projects and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage fire alarm service projects, inspections, repairs, and deficiency correction work.
• Plan and coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and service schedules.
• Support inspection and service proposal development, including scopes of work and pricing.
• Coordinate purchasing, material deliveries, and project logistics.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and attend project meetings as needed.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, profitability, and overall performance.
• Ensure inspections, testing, and repairs comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate change orders, deficiency repairs, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, and customer reports.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in fire alarm service, inspections, or low-voltage systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, inspections, testing requirements, and applicable codes.
• Experience managing customer relationships and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• NICET Certification preferred.
• OSHA Certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
• Fire alarm manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Experience with NFPA 72 inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
