Direct Materials Procurement Intern (Summer 2027) at Clarios in United States, Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement and Direct Materials Team in developing Commodity Strategies.
• Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Ensure all documentation is available and properly completed for IATF audit requirements. This is critical to proper direct materials supplier management for the auto-industry.
• Analyzing monthly reporting on performance, investigate variances, present findings, and organize and file forms as appropriate.
• Managing the business review process and establishing master schedule, track and monitor vendor spend.
• Supporting the development of strategy template, manage the scheduling and cadence of the strategy development sessions, launch RFQ’s and E-Auctions as necessary.
• Supporting supplier transition.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Business Management.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week.
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
