- Our recruiting firm is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Financial Planner to join an established and growing wealth management organization.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused financial professional who enjoys building long-term relationships and providing comprehensive financial and retirement planning guidance.
- The position is primarily planning and client-service focused rather than sales-driven, with the opportunity to identify additional planning and investment needs among existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for an assigned client base.
- Develop and present comprehensive financial plans and retirement income strategies.
- Conduct client meetings, reviews, and ongoing planning conversations.
- Analyze investment portfolios, asset allocation, and financial planning scenarios.
- Perform retirement, tax, insurance, and other financial analyses.
- Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial strategies and overall financial well-being.
- Collaborate with senior advisors and other members of the planning team on client cases.
- Proactively communicate with clients and ensure their ongoing needs are addressed.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely client planning records.
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct client-facing Financial Planning experience
- Series 65 or Series 66 — required
- Bachelor's degree — required
- Strong knowledge of comprehensive financial and retirement planning
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- CFP® designation
- Life Insurance license
- Experience with retirement income planning, investment analysis, tax planning, insurance analysis, and wealth management
