Responsibilities

• As Senior HR Manager / Head of HR, you will lead a small HR team and take ownership of day-to-day HR operations across the business. This will be a very hands-on role, partnering closely with operations and senior leadership to support hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management and general HR process improvement.
• The role reports to the CFO, and includes talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, benefits, HR systems and organizational improvement.

Requirements

• What you will need to succeed
• · Strong HR generalist and HR leadership experience in a high-volume, hourly workforce environment
• · Strong employee relations experience, including confidence handling difficult conversations, investigations, terminations and manager coaching
• · Good knowledge of New York employment law, wage-and-hour requirements, leave, onboarding and general HR compliance
• · Experience managing or developing a small HR team, or clear readiness to step into a broader leadership role
• · Hands-on approach with a willingness to support hiring, onboarding, HR administration, day-to-day operational issues when required
• · Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, ideally Paycom/ADP, would be needed
• · English/Spanish bilingual capability
