- Work closely with engineering and product development teams to turn customer needs into differentiated, high-performance products.
- Shape the positioning and go-to-market strategy for innovative technology used by commercial growers.
- Report directly to senior leadership and have meaningful visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, competitive analysis, market assessment, and product roadmap development.
- Identify customer challenges, unmet market needs, competitive strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Partner with engineering and product development teams to create innovative hardware products with compelling performance advantages.
- Develop portfolio strategies that guide product investment, positioning, launches, and long-term growth.
- Own product marketing programs that increase demand, market share, and brand value.
- Clearly articulate technical product differentiation and translate engineering advantages into compelling customer value propositions.
- Develop product messaging, technical content, white papers, presentations, and market-facing communications.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, technical events, and customer discussions.
- Manage products across their complete lifecycle from concept and development through launch, growth, optimization, and retirement.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on broader company strategy and growth priorities.
- Balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution and measurable near-term results.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a technical degree, preferably in engineering, plus an MBA or other marketing-focused graduate degree relevant to product marketing. We are specifically seeking 5+ years of product marketing experience with technology-based hardware products. Software-only and SaaS-only product marketing backgrounds will not qualify.
- 5+ years of directly relevant product marketing experience with technology-based hardware products.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology, or another technical discipline; engineering strongly preferred.
- MBA, marketing degree, or other relevant advanced education related to product marketing.
- Strong experience developing product positioning, competitive strategy, market analysis, and go-to-market plans.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical products and clearly explain what makes them differentiated.
- Experience working in B2B technology markets.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where leaders remain hands-on.
- Horticultural lighting, agricultural technology, controlled-environment agriculture, LED lighting, or related experience is highly preferred.
