We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Paralegal/ Legal Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to join our team.
• As a Paralegal/ Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services. Your main responsibilities will include providing administrative support, conducting legal research, and assisting with case management. Your ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish will be essential in assisting our Spanish-speaking clients and collaborating with our Spanish-speaking team members.

Responsibilities

• - Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal team, including drafting and proofreading legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, and scheduling appointments and court dates.
• - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys in case preparation.
• - Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in a case, both in English and Spanish.
• - Translate legal documents and correspondence from Spanish to English and vice versa.
• - Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and preparing for trials and hearings.
• - Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure efficient and effective handling of cases.
• - Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
• - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• - Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• - Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• - Proficiency in legal research and knowledge of relevant legal terminology.
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Attention to detail and accuracy.
• - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal software.
