Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and implements automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Programs and configures PLCs, HMIs, robots, and other automation equipment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing automation systems and equipment.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation for automation systems, including schematics, programming logic, and operational procedures.
- Conducts testing, validation, and commissioning of new and modified automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related field.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
- Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) and their integration into manufacturing lines.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automated control systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
