Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and deploys automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Programs PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots for various production lines.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing automation systems and equipment.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
- Implements and maintains industrial control systems, including SCADA and MES.
- Conducts testing, validation, and optimization of automated systems.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation for automation processes and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer) or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
- Experience with robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots) and vision systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize automated systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
