Overview
Support the implementation of information systems security in a computer or network system environment. Assist program managers and system owners in developing and maintaining POA&Ms and implementing mitigations for systems as required
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of information systems security in a computer or network system environment.
- Assist program managers and system owners in developing and maintaining POA&Ms and implementing mitigations for systems as required
- Assist with identification, evaluation, and resolution of security technical and programmatic alternatives/issues for each system.
- Provides mentoring to Application/IT Security Engineer I.
Requirements
- High School Diploma plus 4-8 years of additional related experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3 years of additional relevant experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge/experience of application and IT security is required.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
- Prior experience with on-site government agency support preferred
