The warehouse associate will work around all forms of picking, packing and shipping. Duties include all aspects of inventory movement and distribution. A typical day will involve receiving materials, stocking shelves, picking, packing and shipping orders as well as general facility maintenance.

- The warehouse associate will work around all forms of picking, packing and shipping. Duties include all aspects of inventory movement and distribution. A typical day will involve receiving materials, stocking shelves, picking, packing and shipping orders as well as general facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Read Pick Ticket to assemble customer orders from stock
- Place orders on pallets or shelves with identifying information
- Arrange orders in specified sequence for distribution by salespersons
- Offer assistance to inside salespersons for pulling priority will-call orders; loads will-call customer orders
- Manage updates of bin locations – Efforts to include correct bin location for all items located in warehouse
- Assist with loading drivers and will-call customer orders
- Offer guidance to procurement and sales staff on inventory levels, fast and slow-moving inventory, etc.
- Identify slow-moving and dead stock; facilitate inventory movement and liquidation
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to item number and bin location
- Maintain cleanliness in warehouse
- Manage Return to Vendor (RTV) process, customer returns (RGA) and repairs (CRA)
- Assist with periodic inventory counts (daily, weekly, quarterly, etc)
- Perform inventory counts and propose adjustments to management
- Assist with quarterly inventory count; requires working one weekend per quarter
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent recommended.
- Industry experience favored but not required. Applicants must be eager to learn and open to instruction.
