- Objectways is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business operations. Strong experience with cloud data ecosystems, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing required.
Responsibilities
- - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- - Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
- - Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
- - Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to support reporting and AI initiatives.
- - Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring frameworks.
- - Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.
- - Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise systems.
- - Support cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.
Requirements
- - 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- - Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- - Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.
- - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS.
- - Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools.
- - Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, or Databricks.
- - Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
- - Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
- - Databricks, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse architectures.
- - Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.
- - Experience supporting AI/ML and analytics workloads.
- - Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Databricks).
- - Experience working in large enterprise environments.
