- Business Development Representative
- We're looking for a Business Development Representative who will take the lead in generating new business and reconnecting with past customers.
- Your mission is to bring fresh opportunities into our sales pipeline while helping local businesses improve their visibility and achieve their goals.
- You'll spend your days identifying prospects, reaching out by phone and in person, following up on marketing-generated leads, and building relationships within the local business community.
Responsibilities
- Reignite dormant customer relationships by reaching out to previous clients who haven't done business with us in 12+ months and uncover new opportunities.
- Prospect for new business by researching local companies, visiting businesses, networking, and making outbound calls.
- Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs.
- Schedule appointments and collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and solutions.
- Follow up on marketing leads and provide feedback to improve future campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, meetings, and sales activities in our CRM.
- Represent our company with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in every customer interaction.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident and persistent, with the ability to make outbound calls and in-person visits.
- Organized and consistent with follow-up.
- A curious problem solver who listens first and sells second.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve measurable results.
- Experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or B2B sales preferred.
- Experience in the sign industry, construction services, or business marketing is a plus.
