- Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst to support federal budget formulation/execution, financial tracking, procurement/payment activities, reconciliations, and management reporting for a high-visibility federal organization.
Responsibilities
- Support budget preparation, formulation, execution, and closeout activities.
- Prepare and track procurement requests, payments, and related financial documentation.
- Perform reconciliations and validate invoices and financial transactions.
- Develop financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and management-ready status information.
- Track funding, spending, and burn trends and identify potential variances or issues.
- Coordinate with program, financial, and acquisition stakeholders to resolve financial management actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience with reconciliations, financial analysis, and customer-facing reporting.
- Federal financial-management certification.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, statistical/analytical tools, or advanced Excel.
- Experience supporting federal procurement and invoice-validation processes.
