Job description

• The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential remodeling projects from pre-construction planning through final completion. This position serves as the primary leader for production activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with clients and team members, and can confidently navigate the challenges of a fast-paced remodeling environment. Success in this role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sold projects for production and construction kickoff
• Manage multiple remodeling projects simultaneously
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal team members
• Monitor project budgets and job costs
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget expectations
• Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding project progress and expectations
• Conduct job site visits and inspections
• Resolve field challenges and unforeseen project issues
• Maintain project documentation and reporting
• Lead production teams while promoting accountability, safety, and professionalism
• Perform hands-on carpentry tasks when needed, including framing, trim work, punch-list items, and repairs
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and core values in all interactions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• Strong understanding of residential remodeling and construction practices
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project implementation
• Hands-on carpentry experience with the ability to assist in the field when necessary
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
