Job description

• The Senior Financial & Treasury Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting for Shane Company Home Office and Store Operations. This position, under direction from Management and using independent judgment, performs financial analysis assignments by obtaining and analyzing financial and operational information to prepare reports, analysis and financial statements and make recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing the annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts.
• Creates reporting for leadership team.
• Active contributor to the company’s cash management and cash forecasting.
• Analyze & review monthly financial statements.
• Acts as a liaison with the accounting team. Able to “speak both languages” of finance and accounting to make sure both teams are working together efficiently.
• Manages daily treasury activities and maintains active relationships with banking partners.
• Acts extensively as an internal consultant for other organizational work groups.
• Identifies and tracks key indicators to monitor organizational performance.
• Continually looks for opportunities to improve upon current reporting practices and overall business operations.
• Offers informed suggestions for ways to increase profitability using robust financial analysis and models.
• Assist with cross-functional projects as needed.
• Performs ad hoc projects as determined by senior management.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 4+ years in a financial analysis or accounting role.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills; proven ability to present information to all levels of management.
• Exposure to model building and creating dashboards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel ability; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Forward looking ability to use mathematical techniques to analyze data and solve operational and strategic problems.
• SAP experience a plus.
• MBA a plus.
• CPA a plus.

• Base Pay range for this role is $100,000 - $119,000 annually. Your placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members and alignment with geographic market data. Home office base pay ranges are based on the Denver market. We target most new hire offers toward the lower end of the listed range, but more demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills may result in a higher starting rate.
• Beyond Base Pay: Home office positions are eligible for consideration for an annual bonus, based on total company performance. Amounts vary by role and are based on a percentage of eligible earnings for the fiscal year.
