Job description

• We are looking for a results-driven and creative Brand Marketing Manager II to join our Brand Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, this role will take on significant ownership of AvidXchange's brand presence across social media, digital advertising, and brand governance. This person will be a strong copywriter and brand steward - someone who can build strategy and roll up their sleeves to execute day-to-day.

Responsibilities

• · Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of AvidXchange's social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X, including writing copy, designing assets in Canva, scheduling and posting content, monitoring and responding to messages and brand mentions, and reporting on performance.
• · Drive AvidXchange's Reddit strategy, including managing our subreddit, monitoring community trends, and maintaining an active presence to support generative engine optimization (GEO) initiatives.
• · Lead AvidXchange's YouTube channel from the ground up, defining the content strategy, building the content calendar, and growing the channel to build brand awareness and strengthen AvidXchange's presence in AI-generated search results and generative engine responses.
• · Develop the video content strategy for YouTube and paid media, partnering with in-house creative and agency partners to produce and publish compelling video content across both channels.
• · Own the creative and copy for top-of-funnel digital ad campaigns, partnering with the Digital Marketing team on targeting and strategy decisions to ensure ads are on-brand, compelling, and consistent with AvidXchange's messaging.
• · Serve as AvidXchange's brand consistency champion, designing and owning a new internal creative review process that ensures all marketing assets reflect consistent messaging and visual identity before going live.
• · Lead AvidXchange's internal social media advocacy program using Oktopost, curating social posts that empower teammates to amplify brand content through their own LinkedIn profiles.
• · Contribute to AvidXchange's GEO and AI discoverability strategy by ensuring social media content, community presence, and brand signals are optimized to influence how AI tools surface and represent AvidXchange.

Requirements

• · Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 5–7 years of experience in social media management, brand marketing, or digital advertising.
• · Exceptional copywriting skills. This is a copy-heavy role requiring the ability to write compelling, on-brand content across formats, channels, and audiences.
• · Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Reddit, with an understanding of GEO and AI discoverability and how social and community presence influence brand visibility in AI-generated results.
• · Experience developing video content strategies and working with creative teams or agency partners to produce video content for social and paid media channels.
• · Strong eye for brand consistency in both copy and visual presentation, with the ability to evaluate creative work and deliver constructive feedback.
• · Demonstrated success managing digital ad campaigns and reporting on channel and campaign performance to inform strategy.
• · Highly organized self-starter who thrives managing multiple projects simultaneously; proficiency with Canva required; experience with Oktopost, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce a plus.
