Responsibilities
- • š§± Design, implement, deploy, and maintain data marts and ETL processes (our data assets).
- • āļø Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data assets.
- • š Design and maintain quality indicators with effective monitoring & alerting.
- • š ļø Troubleshoot and document issues following Amadeus standards.
- • š Apply continuous improvement to systems, processes, and data-related issues.
- • š Stay updated with industry standards, security recommendations, and best practices within the Offer organization.
Requirements
- • š» Programming Languages: Python or Scala
- • šļø Big Data Technologies: Apache Spark, Sqoop, Hadoop, Hive, Apache Kafka
- • šļø Data Platforms: Databricks (preferable), Snowflake, Azure Synapse
- • š Database: SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL, BigQuery
- • āļø Cloud Platforms: Azure / GCP / AWS
- • š DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, Git/GitHub, Bitbucket
- • š Good to have certifications: Azure and/or Databricks
- • š Education: University degree in computer science or related field or relevant experience
- • š¼ Overall experience: 8+ Years
- • š Proven track record of experience working in data engineering domain.
- • š§ Strong experience defining ETL processes.
- • š§ Experience with data modeling and data visualization concepts and tools.
- • š Knowledge of Software Design under Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, …).
- • š Proven experience on design and maintaining applications using Scala, (Py)Spark, MAPR distribution, Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Impala.
- • āļø Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure, Databricks.
