- We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong litigation background to support a busy legal team handling complex cases and high document volume.
- This role is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who can work independently, manage cases proactively, and support attorneys throughout the full litigation lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery documents independently
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Conduct background reviews and legal research
- Manage and organize large volumes of legal documentation and case files
- Support case management activities and anticipate next steps in litigation workflows
- Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case schedules
- Prepare billing narratives and time entries with clear justification of work performed
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case progression
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
- Strong experience with discovery requests, background reviews, and litigation workflows
- Proven ability to independently draft pleadings (complaints, motions, discovery documents)
- Billing experience, including drafting billing narratives
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys
- Experience in personal injury defense or similar litigation environments
- Familiarity with legal case management systems
