- SimpsonScarborough is building a talent pipeline for our growing Fractional CMO service. We partner with higher education institutions navigating a leadership transition, a reorganization, a budget-constrained moment, or a period of significant change, giving them senior marketing leadership without forcing an immediate permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior marketing leadership to higher education institutions during transitions or periods of change
- Diagnose marketing function's structure and gaps
Requirements
- Senior marketing leadership experience (CMO, VP of Marketing, or equivalent)
- Higher education experience strongly preferred; comparable experience in complex, mission-driven institutions considered
- A track record of specific, quantifiable outcomes, beyond general oversight
- Experience holding real budget and personnel authority
- Comfort diagnosing a marketing function's structure and gaps
