• Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated and innovative hardware electrical engineering Intern eager to learn, contribute, and bring fresh ideas to complex design challenges. In this hands-on role, you’ll gain experience across the full hardware development lifecycle for high end embedded technology while working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support of the design development and test of hardware products from concept to completion
• Work side-by-side with experienced electrical engineers to design and verify state-of-the-art technology for commercial, defense and intelligence applications
• Execute lab design verification test (DVT) and debug
• Participate in the development and specification of new product HW/SW platform architectures
• Support detailed design specifications, test plans, and verification reports
• Support schematic development using Cadence DEHDL (Concept)

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related technical discipline
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
• Basic understanding of high-speed digital and analog circuitry, power management, and electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• General knowledge of electronic schematic tools (e.g., Allegro Design Entry HDL, Mentor Graphics/DXDesigner)
• Familiarity with digital test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

• Full time Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position: $17.00 - 38.00/hour
